A patient’s tennis elbow was so bad that he had to wear an elbow brace all the time to reduce the local pain and swelling. After doing the assessment, I diagnosed his condition as Wind-Damp-Cold Bi, which is a common Chinese Medicine syndrome. Basically, Wind-Damp-Cold Bi is a disorder resulting from the obstruction of energy and blood flow in the meridian, due to coldness, dampness and wind invasion. With sports acupuncture needle technique and traditional Chinese Medicine moxibustion, I was able to minimize the pain with one treatment. If you have a similar condition, I might be able to help you reduce the pain and gain your arm strength back.
